About me
So you are curious who made this website? Here are some answers:
I was born in march 1976 and till now I am living in a small but nice city named Waltrop in germany.
I studied medical computer sciences at the university of applied sciences in Dortmund (a neighbour city). The diploma thesis led me to my employer, first a radiological therapy center ("Institue of Microtherapy" in Bochum, there the IT departement). This department hived off later to a company that develops software for radiologic image archiving and reporting, named Visus Health IT GmbH. Later I started another study for a master degree (MSC) in medicical computer sciences.
Also this institute allowed me to start a promotion to a "Doctor rerum medicinalium" (there is no counterpart in englisch language, it is something like theoretical medicine or computer sciences for medicine in my case). After much work and stress I finished this promotion in 2007.
Now to the more private things of my life: I am married, no children but have a nice dog from an animal shelter. Then I make my own music, I play the accordion since I was about 8 years old. At the moment I like to play french music, mostly breton folk.
Other hobbies? Of course, otherwise this website wouldn't exists. Since 2002 I am interested in pocket watches, their history and origin. Since march 2006 I'm visiting the regional chapter of the
Deutsche Gesellschaft für Chronometrie e.V.
(or shorter 'DGC'). Also, since january 2012 I am a full member of the DGC.
Then I like straight razors, a really nice and classy way to start a day! And I like those old "unreadable" german handwritings,
taught myself how to write and read it.
I hope the big question mark is gone.
